HR Business Partner - Retail
West Midlands, c£80k + generous package
With a multi billion pound turnover and healthy operating results our client is a national retail services organisation with brand recognition of over 90%. The business has experienced huge success in recent times and is now looking to build on this growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for taking the lead on developing and implementing innovative and leading edge HR practices which progress our client’s customer driven business strategies. Enjoying real freedom of operation within a professional framework, you will design and implement new initiatives for creating a winning retail environment based on the company’s strategic objective of differentiation through people. You will also influence our business leaders towards ensuring that the people agenda id reflected n business strategy developments.
Key Result Areas
- Work with retail CEO and the Retail Executive to ensure the people agenda fully integrates and enables the Retail business objectives
- Lead on the development of the retail markets people plan and development priorities
- Maximise people engagement too ensure people remain loyal to npower in order to deliver the overall vision of ‘turning our customers into fans’.
- Develop and strategic plan for reward and recognition within the retail business ensuring compliance with RWE policy and procedure
Candidate Profile
- Graduate calibre with substantial experience in retail, FMCG, or commercial service organisations
- Exposure to operating in fast-moving, change orientated environments
- A strong track record in organizational development and change management
- Presence, intellectual capability and resilience to both critique the status quo and articulate your position accordingly
- Bright and business credible
