Senior HR Business Partner

Serco’s work ranges from the management of facilities, projects and IT systems, through to the creation of entirely new businesses. This includes the financing, design, and build of new facilities, including hospitals and transport systems, as well as their day-to-day operation. Reporting directly to Government Integrated Services Managing Director with a dotted line report into the HR Director, this role offers a number of challenges. Government Integrated Services is a thriving, successful and profitable division, and the challenge is to deliver higher levels of growth in the future.  Currently employing around 2000 people the division has a turnover of £80 million; this is projected to double over the next 24 months.

Role Profile

The key purpose of this role is to deliver organisational and leadership development skills to drive growth in the business, and to provide great generalist human resource support to ensure people innovate and deliver the best customer experience.

Serco are looking for someone who can quickly make a positive and significant impact on the business, they are also looking for a bright individual with plenty of room for professional growth. To be successful in this role, the individual will have a strong commercial orientation and a real understanding of how the HR function can really add value to the business. The successful candidate will need to possess highly developed interpersonal skills particularly as the role requires frequent contact with senior and bright individuals within the Serco Group and the external client population.
