The function is undergoing an extensive transformation to ensure it can enable the organisation to realise future strategic goals and the business is fully bought in to the HR agenda. The incoming Senior HR Manager will act primarily as consultant / first point of contact for the client group in London, the third largest office in the Pictet Group.
This is a generalist role though a candidate with a leaning to compensation and benefits would be an advantage given the complex nature of the reward strategy within Pictet.
Key Result Areas
- To operate as an effective, high value business partner for PAM London providing support, guidance, challenge and advisory services to employees.
- Be the clear number 2 to the Head of HR
- Establish relationships with key management based on credibility and trust
- To attract and retain PAM staff seeking a collegiate, high performance environment
- Provide creative, informed and pro-active recruitment, attraction and retention techniques.
- Work with senior management to take a proactive and targeted approach to talent management and career development
- Foster a can-do, non-bureaucratic culture
- Develop the capability of the management layer
- Champion effective performance management
- Establish high performing teams
Candidate Profile
- Business sector experience is vital to enable the ideal candidate to be quickly accepted and to be able to hit the ground running.
- Experience of a relationship driven environment as opposed to transactional is essential.
- Be a true HR all-rounder with a very strong ‘client first’ orientation
- Strong, influential HR professional with experience of operating in a fast-paced, commercial, international business environment.
- A good understanding of reward in order to understand, develop & promote the sophisticated & attractive reward strategies to senior managers & new talent
- Excellent relationship building, consulting, communication and influencing
- Customer focused with a proven commercial interest and ability
- Pragmatic and comfortable with ambiguity
- Confident, pro-active, resilient and can-do attitude
